Hodal Bizimungu grew up in Rwanda and witnessed the resilience and challenges faced by his community, particularly in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide. Together with his wife, Ninah, he founded Africa Oasis Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference across Africa. Inspired by a missionary’s support that enabled Ninah to pursue her education, Hodal and Ninah felt a calling to give back and bring hope to others.

With extensive experience from his role as Co-Vice Country Director for an international faith-based organization, Hodal is passionate about Africa Oasis Foundation’s mission: to make disciples of Jesus through authentic relationships, excellent education, and strengthened communities. As Founder & Chief Visionary of Africa Oasis Foundation, he focuses on empowering individuals and fostering sustainable change. Africa Oasis Foundation strives to build a legacy rooted in compassion, faith, and transformative community impact.
