Story:
Soleil is 12 years old and she is in P4. She lives with only her mum and 6 siblings in KAMABUYE Sector. Her father left family in 10 years ago and married to another woman in Tanzania. Since then, the mother of Soleil started struggling with looking after her children. The mother also married to another husband who left them too. This family is really need help; their house is very old and was destroyed by rain. It must totally fall down at any time. That is the reason why, AOF staff members decided to rent another house for this family just for emergency because their lives were in danger. This case is known by local leaders – Cell but they didn’t give any support. This family has land where they live and grow some crops for only home consumption. The mother also digs for others to support the family. This family really needs much care with house renovation, educating other Soleil’s siblings. Also, they are able to look after goat.
