Story:

Grace lives in KAMABUYE Sector with only his mum and her 3 siblings. Her father is from BURUNDI origin and he left the family and went back there since Grace was a baby. The father doesn’t support the family. The mother of grace had another husband who died in 1995. This family has no house for their own. They rent a house but they have a small farm where they grow crops for only home consumption. The mother is very old, not able to cultivate and grow enough food for the family. They struggle with food and other home basic needs. Grace continues her studies well supported by AOF and she performs well. Always she takes the 1^st place in the class. At home she is very helpful; she helps to do home activities such as cooking food, washing clothes, cleaning, etc.
