Story:

Callixte lives in KAMABUYE sector with paternal grandmother. His father died in 2018. After his death, Callixte stayed with his mother and his 4 siblings. The mother was drunker and unable to take care of all her children. This impacted negatively Callixte’s life together with his siblings. That is the reason why the aunt of Callixte decided to take him from his mum and took him to grandma where he gets much support and care. Arriving to the grandmother’s home, Callixte joined school again, washed and ate well. The grandmother is very old but she helps much this boy. The only problem found there is the conflict between grandmother and the mother. The mother wants to take back the boy from grandmother’s house. And the grandmother accuses the mother to be irresponsible of taking care of children. We advised the mother to join local leaders about this case.
