Uwase lives in the Ngeruka Sector with her mother. Her father left the family after marrying another woman. They don’t have a house or a farm, and her mother works as a casual laborer to support them. It’s a struggle to meet their basic needs, including food and clothing. They keep goats, but despite the challenges, Uwase has a strong passion for studying.
