Divine lives in the Kamabuye Sector with her grandmother, as her parents separated some time ago. The family lives in a poor house with no land to farm, and they struggle to meet basic needs like food and clothing. Her grandmother, due to old age and disabilities, is unable to work. Despite these challenges, Divine is a bright student and has consistently earned first place in her studies. The family is able to raise goats for additional support.
