Erness lives in the Ngeruka Sector with his mother and siblings, after his parents separated. They don’t have their own house or land for farming, so daily life revolves around cultivation. Providing food and clothing is a constant struggle. Despite these hardships, Erness performs well in school and has a strong passion for studying. They manage to rear goats to help sustain the family.
