Alice lives in Kamabuye with her mother and siblings. Her father passed away in 2020, and her mother, who is elderly, has no job other than working as a laborer to survive. The family does not own a home and rents a small, dilapidated house. They have no land to grow crops and often only eat once a day. Life is very challenging for them.
